We just left The Oklahoma City National Memorial. What a heartbreaking site that was, and a pretty incredible/moving experience.
I was able to take some amazing photos there. Unfortunately, I also missed a ton I wanted. Midway through the morning the Tokina 11-16mm, the lens I rented just for this trip, crapped out on me. The aperture ring locked up and would no longer adjust. This caused my camera many errors and much disappointment. The trip just started, and there is still some amazing stuff to photograph. I do have other lenses with me, but this lens gave such a great look and I had all these shots in mind that I no longer can take. While I am upset about this, I will of course, not let it ruin my trip. To Flagstaff we go!!!
